Home Moravian Church

There are two approaches for parking, as well:

You may enter 529 S. Church St. in your GPS system, to park on Church or Main St. in Old Salem.

BEWARE: some GPS and online maps do not recognize that Church St. is one way, north only, from Academy St., and Bank St. is one way, west only, from Church St.

Parking is not available in the Salem College lot directly across the street, but IS AVAILABLE in the lot just north of there, behind the white fence, across from the parsonage and Bishop’s House.  From Church St., simply walk down the paved driveway to the Fellowship Hall to check-in. Or enter the CE Building and use the elevator at the end of the hall.

Alternatively, and recommendedHome Church has parking in the Salem College/AKD Center/God’s Acre parking lot, at the east side of the building, and it is a bit easier to park and access the Fellowship Hall. To find this parking, you may find it easiest to type 500 E Salem Ave., Winston-Salem (which is the address of Salem Academy) in your GPS system, to get to the parking area. You will see Salem Academy on the left and God’s Acre on the right, then the Salem College  Fine Arts Center on the left. Keep straight, as far as you can go, to the end of the parking lot and turn left to park, or enter the driveway and curve left up to the portico. The brick building, with a drive through portico is Home Church. There are parking spaces reserved for Home Church.

SPECIAL NEEDS ACCESS, elevator access, and anyone who needs to save some steps or shorten their walk. Once you have parked in the Salem College/A K Davis Ctr/God’s Acre parking lot (see below), approach the building on the lowest level, at the back door, under the portico, and go up one level by stairs or elevator to the Fellowship Hall to Check-In.
